Mustard Cake
The mustard cake is obtained from mustard seeds after extracting the oil from the seeds. Mustard cakes provide all the essential elements for plant growth such as nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. 100% natural liquid fertilizer can be made from the cakes by soaking them in water for 24 hours and then adding that water to the soil. Please ensure that you do not add the fertilizer directly into the roots but around the seeds.
Neem Cake
Neem cake is the de-oiled residue that can be used after Neem kernels are crushed for their oil.
In this seed kernel are nutrients like NPK ((nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) as well as nortriterpenoids and isoprenoids. These nutrients are nematicidal in nature so the seed cake ends up with these properties. . . It will control, at the same time, soil based pathogens. It will also inhibit nitrification of the soil plus enhance the efficiency of nitrogen providing fertilizer.
Neem Cake usage instructions
Add 25gram approx Neem Cake in pot and mix it well in top 1-2 inch of soil. Irrigate immediately after application. Repeat it every week.
Loosen the soil before application for better mixing and aeration.
